Retinal detachments

I am an eye surgeon who specialises in diseases of the retina, macula and vitreous. These include eye complications of diabetes (diabetic retinopathy, proliferative diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy), macular holes, retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes and floaters.

I practice in the NHS at St Thomas' Hospital in Central London and The Maidstone Hospital in Kent. In addition to these NHS posts I am an honorary consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London and St Luke's Hospital for the Clergy, London.

My private practice is based at 149 Harley Street and is administered by Rita Bacon
