Will I use drops after the surgery?

You will be provided with steroid and antibiotic drops to use after the surgery. If the pressure in your eye is raised then you may also be given anti pressure treatment. If a buckle has been applied then it is standard practice to give a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug such as neurofen or voltarol to be used regularly for a week. This reduces the amount of pain and discomfort in the eye.
